Charm Bracelet: Marie Antoinette

During my trip to London and while visiting Madame Toussauds Wax Museum, I remembered seeing Marie Antoinette's death mask which was made after her guillotine execution. A sad ending to a very controversial Queen, however her life will always be a constant fascination for historians, anyone with interest in French Monarchs and myself alike. To the queen whom may have gone down by the French Revolution but never will in history.

Materials: Brass links, brass findings, faux pearls, light brown dahlia cabochon and brass mask charms.

Length: 20 cm
(from toggle to end)

Price: RM 70 (inclusive of black see-through gift box, royal blue satin ribbon, small light grey card)

Charm Bracelet: The Secret Masquerade

When I see a fancy mask, it always remind me of masquerade balls which were common in times of centuries old Venice and France. High socialites and royalties were said enjoyed having guessing games on whom is behind the mask. It does gives you a sense of anonimity behind those painted faces and in life we all do wear invisible mask and play a role from time to time. I don't think its deceiving but adapting.

Materials: Brass links, brass findings, faux pearls, light brown dahlia cabochon and brass mask charms.

Length: 20 cm
(from toggle to end)

Price: RM 70 (inclusive of black see-through gift box, brown satin ribbon, small light grey card)

Charm Bracelet: The Red Queen

Red is a powerful colour. Clearly not an understatement. Just like a red rose, can be very feminine and absorbing but can be vicious underneath. Making this bracelet, I clearly visioned the red queen in the tale of Alice In Wonderland. Fascinating.

Materials: Brass links, brass findings, faux pearls, blood red dahlia cabochon, brass flower charms and red crystals.

Length: 20 cm (from toggle to end)
Price: RM 70 (inclusive of black see-through gift box, red satin ribbon, small light grey card)

Charm Bracelet: Persephone

I have always been fascinated with bedtime stories, myth and legends with particular interest in Greek mythology, with all the tales of gods and godesses, heroes and all kinds of magical creatures. I love the tale of Persephone's abduction by Hades, to eventually become the Queen of the Underworld and her association with the first green sprouts of spring. Thus the bright green colour chosen for this bracelet and the leaf charms that make the complete ensamble.

Charm Bracelet: Aphrodite

Bask in everything Violet! The colours of passion which reminded me of the goddess of love, Aphrodite, hence the name. Aphrodite was a goddess believed by ancient grecian to have unparelleled beauty that could have led to great war and was notorious to have numerous lovers. Representing love, beauty and passion she definately lived up to the expectation.

Charm Bracelet: The Aegian Sea

This piece was designed based on the beautiful gradual blue coloured cabochon dahlia, that reminded me of the beautiful Aegian Sea in the mediterraneans. Aegean Sea has always represented a place of wonders, mystery and adventures as depicted in many ancient Greek mythology. I've always loved the sea and would often imagine of all the glorious creatures that exist within it and the mythical creatures that would be associated with it too.

Materials: Brass links, brass findings, faux pearls, sealife and mermaid brass charms, sparkly gradual blue cabochon and chinese crystals
Full Length: 20 cm (from toggle to end)
Price: RM 70 (inclusive of black see-through gift box, bright blue ribbon, small light grey card)

Thinking of Beads and Jump Rings!

Welcome to our little blog!
Huh?! Dining Table?! Where??
Firstly a big thanks for checking our blog out ;) It's wonderful to be able to meet new people with the same interest as we do, that is the LOVE FOR JEWELRY! The reason this blog came to be!

I've always loved jewelry that was affordable and unique. Previously, I would buy my jewelry online from other lovely jewelry enthusiast or on trips to flea markets abroad. It's truly wonderful to see all those lovely trinkets made by talented people.

Charm Bracelets has always been my thing, I wear these the most! Never seem to get enough of them. I've always been a big fan of chunky bracelets and decided to design them myself as a hobby. Initial plan was to design for my niece Dania and as gifts, however one thing lead to another and now we have this blog!

For the time being I would like to concentrate on charm bracelet, however later on I will definately would love to progress on to necklaces, earrings, rings and who knows, maybe even a cat collar or two! I hope you will enjoy looking at my designs as much as I had fun making them.

I'm very new to jewelry making so if you have any advice for a newbie like me, it would be highly appreciated! If you have any question, comments and such, please, I look forward to your emails.
Last but not least, hope you'll enjoy our blog and have a wonderful day!
